Lighting your bathroom

Whatever the style of bathroom you decide to go with, lighting is always an important aspect to get right.

Bathroom lighting is often more complex than other rooms and needs to be specific to its needs. The lighting needs to be bright, well directed and well positioned. Overhead lighting often casts shadows over you, so it’s important to get lighting around other areas of the room, such as backlit lighting around mirrors.

As we like bathrooms to be seen as luxurious, relaxing spaces, we don’t want you to be smothered in light all the time, especially whilst trying to enjoy a nice bath. Dimmable ceiling lights allow you to tune the lighting to your current needs and turn down the brightness when you want to. This can also be achieved with accent lighting placed intelligently around the room within niche boxes, on the floor and at low level around the walls.
